All businesses start as someone’s great idea to help address a need in greater society - but not everyone is well-equipped with the tools to manage financial systems and records.
That’s where we come in.
With a heavy emphasis on 1:1 interactions with our clients, we bring a new level of accountability to the realm of accounting. We know that running a business is very demanding and that maintaining financial records can often be pushed to the back-burner.
We’ve made significant progress in our mission to spread Business Financial Education across the region through our partnerships with the City of Tacoma Chamber of Commerce, Spaceworks Tacoma, Pierce County Business Accelerator, and many other local businesses!
After 6 years of serving her community as an Accountant, Asia began building A+ Bookkeeping and Payroll Services in 2019. She noticed early on that there were very few Black-owned accounting professionals in her area and decided to make a change.
When you ask about her passion for the work, she responds with care and concern:
“There are many business owners who struggle with managing money and finances… I do this work with the hope of getting small businesses established.”
